Went to a MaryKay Career Conference in Pittsburgh, PA last weekend.
Had a blast! And learned a lot. It was great.
I LOVE this company! This is a co-worker at
the Aging Program and the person who recruited
me for MK. Her name is Barbie.
Her name suits her, don't you think?
Some of us got to go up on stage for awards.
I didn't get to go THIS TIME. I've only been in it a month.
But watch out for next time!!

This is my Unit Director, Jan. She is the one up on stage

in the previous picture.

She is a real hoot. Our success meeting are such fun.

EASTER 08

Helping Grandma open her birthday present.

Part of the packaging made a nice hat. For those of you who are old enough to remember, this reminds me of the Alka Seltzer commercial. Plop, plop, fizz, fizz!!
Come on, Dad! Wake up! Let's go look for Easter eggs.

It started with Easter dinner. I was so happy to have everyone there!

Looking for eggs in the house. I think I made it way too easy for him.

I keep forgetting he is, after all, four years old now!

He wanted to open every egg as soon as he found it!
It was going to take forever!

Grandma helps search outside while Brutus does his own searching.
At least it was a nice, sunny day!

He looked EVERYWHERE!

But it was worth it!

Counting his booty while Great Grandma helps him sort.
Bouncing Boy: Blake gets more use out of this than I do!!

Bilzzard 08

Everyone is grateful for the sunshine today.
A picture of me taking a picture of Brutus looking out the window. I took a video of Brutus playing in the snow. He actually loved it if it wasn't snowing at the time. Unfortunately, the video is on my camera memory card, the card is full and I can't seem to get the images off of it! Guess you have to be smarter than the camera.

There was even a snow dift inside my screened porch.

Believe it or not, the mail was delivered yesterday. She had to wade in snow hip-deep to get to the neighbor's door.

This is the sidewalk to my front door. I left that shoveling until today. No one was going to visit yesterday anyway!

I don't know that I would call it the "Blizzard of 08" (per the Columbus Dispatch) but it is certainly the most snow I've seen in a long time. It took me 3 hours to shovel the driveway yesterday! About 15 inches and that didn't count the drifts! When I was finished there was another inch of snow behind me. I left that for this morning. The sun came out and cleaned off the drive quite nicely.
